We’re always talking about what a great group of employees we have.  They all feel like family to us, so let us introduce you to the driver who ranks second to Larry Jensen in longevity with Joule Yacht Transport:

Tim Pyne

Tim Pyne approached Dick and Barbara Joule in 1971, expressing his desire to haul boats.  They told Tim to get his Commercial Driver's License (known as a Chauffeur’s license at that time in New York) and come back.  He did, and on November 1, 1972, Tim signed on as an owner/operator and never looked back.

Tim has been in every corner of the US and many spots in Canada, delivering everything from a truckload of legal sized Boston Whalers to 90’, multi-million-dollar racing sailboats. 

Yacht Transport Specialist Extraordinaire for 45 Years! 

Tim forges a special rapport with most people he meets.  He’s extremely outgoing and knowledgeable on many subjects relating to boats and trucking.  Many of our drivers call Tim to ask his opinion on loading or routing, because he’s been there…   hauled that! It’s hard to believe he’ll soon begin his 45th year with Joule Yacht Transport.

Congratulations, Tim!  We value your friendship and appreciate your loyalty, expertise, and service to JYT and our customers.  The entire crew at Joule Yacht extends many thanks and best wishes for continued success.
